Hi everyone, I have a 2010 GX Premium. I don't use the built in navigation and I would rather have the unit show me the radio option/page at all times. But, every time I switch to anything other than navigation, after a minute or two, it defaults back to nav. Any way to prevent that? Thanks!

Page 55-56 of the manual is exactly what tecman pointed out. Do you note see these options?

Similar question..... How do I stop making the full screen NAV show up as the default screen when I turn my vehicle back on? I sometimes leave it in the Audio screen and it defaults to that when turning back on. Other times, it defaults to full screen NAV and I'm not sure why... I would rather it default to Audio or the HOME screen where I have NAV on the Left side of the screen, audio top right and climate on bottom right.

Hey ObsidianBl - the guidance provided by tecman or the pdf link above should apply to your use case too.

I never got this to work. Nav is always the default after I leave the display on the “HOME” screen. Why couldn’t it just boot up and let me see the 3 options I chose on my “HOME” screen????

Unfortunately, the Lexus GX display defaults to Nav when initial start. The "Auto Screen Change" option ONLY prevent the screen display to change from radio or A/C back to Nav if user selected either of the screens AFTER startup. With newer generation Lexus with 10" or 12" ultra wide screen with split screen function, the one third of the screen (right side) can be setup to any function display as default while left half will be default to Nav at all the time. At this point, don't see newer generation of system/display is making to the GX anytime soon.

Any updates to this? I’ve got a 2021 GX with auto screen change set to off. Defaults to map.

Are you sure about this? On my 2017 GS350, the screen will always startup (default) to whatever I had it previously displayed when I shut off the car. If it is showing the radio screen when I shut it off, it will show the radio screen when I start the car. This is the case for both the main display and the side display. I also have the option to expand the map to cover the entire 12.3" screen if desired, and it will stay that way forever until I change to something else.
