TRD Air Filter

Looking for a intake system for my GX, all I could come across was the drop in filters. Looking at the K&N one, the cross reference was to a 4Runner/FJ Cruiser. So I decided to try the TRD filter instead.

Part Number: PTR43-00083

and it drops in perfectly, and sold by Toyota

Advantage of TRD over K&N? Several here use K&N including myself.

To be honest, I think K&N makes the filter for TRD, but in my case, I am in Canada... We don't have the Magnuson-Moss warranty act, and having a Toyota part number gives me the feeling of insurance.
