How to have side mirrors to fold in and out
by opening and closing the car with original remote key?
Just like RX models!
Has anyone successfully was make this mode?

 

It's not an option on the GX 460, my LS 460 has the auto button for the mirrors, but not the GX460...

 

Yes i know it is not an option from Lexus, I am interested in modifying it for my GX I have seen it on two GX460 in my neighborhood
Can anyone assist with that mode?

 

I'm willing to bet with an aftermarket alarm you can program one of the buttons on the fob to close the mirrors when activating the alarm or have them wired to close with the arm button, again, on an aftermarket alarm.

I am looking to keep original alarm with original remote start and have the mirrors automatically open/close from the original remote remote Lock\unlock buttons.

 

I have my doubts that you'll get that to work the way you want it but if you do please post how you get it to work because I'd love to have that option as well.

Since my GX has been at the dealer for 3 days I had them try and do some research and I trust them when they say they tried and made a bunch of calls and the outcome is no auto fold on GX mirrors. The RX (which I'm driving now) and the LX has them but we are SOL.
