Default Luminics H11 to replace fog lights?

What is your opinion about replacing the fog lights with these:

Would they cause any damage because they run hotter?

These are GREAT, they match the HIDs perfectly and they light better then OEM. They are a direct replacement (plug & play) and they should last a lifetime.

I put that style in the DRL/high beam light. The color is close to the HID when they are bright not DRL. The color is not an exact match. The best best bet is the LEDs they match perfect and that is what I have in the fog and love them. If you do go with the Luminics Krypton Titanium they should not put out that much more heat because they are 55w. I have no clue on the life of these bulbs. I have only had the Luminics for a month.

Don't the LEDs serve only as aesthetic purposes only?

Not the one I posted. I disconnected the head lights and had only the fogs on and the light pattern is just like the OEM bulb but brighter. The pattern is really nice and wide angle and low to the ground. Just like a fog light is supposed to be.

I also have the V-LEDs 5k fogs and highly recommend them.

I've had mine for almost a year.

High quality, good output, and good color match.

Love the 5k from v-leds too. No problems with them yet. Today I have received the 4th gen amber high power turn signal bulbs v-leds just has released. Very nice. Almost identical output as regular bulb and you get a nice crisp on/off.

They are out of stock, I guess v-led is the only one that carries them...

I finally got the luminics krypton titanium white for the high beams and fog lights and they are awesome! Really bright and almost as white as the HID's, I am very happy with them. Now let's see how long they last. One thing I noticed was that when the high beams are on the fog lights are off. I don't remember my 4runner doing that. Is this they way it's supposed to be?

Mickey, I believe that you are not supposed to have more than two lights on at a time. In the old days, you either had the low beams or the high beams on at a time. Nowdays, both beams are on at the same time.

Subsequently, when your Fogs are on with your low beams, that is all you can have on, legally. Therefore, when you turn on your High Beams, the Fogs turn off, to be legal.
