Cup holders suck...
Put a can in there and it is just about guarantees to fall over and dump everything. Does anyone know of any insert or whatever that is capable of keeping cans/bottles upright?

It's a remarkable shitty design, especially considering that the cup holders in my 2005 4Runner worked great, even with the oversize Nalgene bottles I tote around.
In my GX those bottles barely fit and me pushing them in has caused the single spring-loaded retainer to pop its sping into the abyss under the console.

This is what I have and a lot better than the shallow inserts which I also have. This one is specifically designed for the GX 460. It's pricier but worth it.

The biggest complaint I have in our 2022 and 2023 is the cup holder design. They creak constantly when you have anything in them and sound really cheap considering this is supposed to be a luxury brand. I pretty much stopped using them in mine and my wife just turns the radio up in hers to drown out the noise.
