Question if anyone could help. Have a 2023 GX and was thinking of replacing the shift **** for this one. Can anyone confirm it would be a direct swap and fit? Thanks for you time and help as always.

I like that shift ****. I imagine the threads are the same, it would boil down to if the leather boot clip would clip on the bottom of that LC Prado ****.

 

Exactly what I was wondering. Just didn't want to buy it and than be out of luck.

 

It is fairly expensive to run an experiment on. LOL

 

By the picture, the clear clip on the bottom looks like it does not fit the 22/23 models. It looks quite tall which is the previous version. You would need to get a new shift boot from the previous GX460 and then attach that to the current plastic surround frame, then it should work. The actual metal rod is unchanged.

Yes that boot should work, the boots and shift **** changeover was 2010-2019 and then 2020-2023 was the new version. Keep in mind there are several variations of the boot based on interior color, but that one should work well. The boot is not an exact fit on your 2023 boot frame, but it will fit. Then you can use any 2010-2019 shift ****.

Also you might be able to find a shift boot on ebay. Search for GX460 shifters. There are many parts out there, many times they come with a shift **** as well. It might be cheaper then buying new.
