Default New Grill Sensor Error

After replacing my wife’s front grill will the 2020 grill, her front sensors go off in the rain and sometimes even when it’s not raining. They look fine and fit snug.
any help would be appreciated.

Are they flush mounted. Mine were I had that problem; therefore I had to make the holes a little larger.

What error are you getting? Is it a radar cruise equipped model?

They are mounted the same depth as the all others so I wouldn’t think that was it but I’m not sure. It will come up with a couple bars and beeping like I am real close to something in front of the car.
There are no clips on the new grill so the sensors are just pushed in but they fit nice and snug.

I asked for errors because I got a PCS error on the 17 with the new grill and emblem shortly after the update was done. I finally got it by the dealer last month & that troubleshooting resulted in my buying a radar-friendly front emblem. This has not cleared the error & I’m a bit frustrated. The radar cruise is still not working right due to the PCS error but it is find using the bypass method for the non-radar cruise.

My sensors fit but the middle camera was not a perfect fit. I made it fit with a drummel tool & it seems OK.

I really need to get Techstream figured out for this one. Mine has not been hit or anything that would mess up the PCS system so the only thing I can figure is that it is some sensor out of place but I’m not seeing an error code. The dealer just reset the code and, of course, it returns within a minute of driving.

Had the same issue with the sensors in the rain after grill swap. Pulled the sensors out about a 1/16th and the error seems to have disappeared.
