I just updated my grill to an aftermarket 2020 grill. The problem I have is the new grill didn’t have the same attachment setup my old one had for the two front parking sensors. I was able to remove the inserts from the old grill and push them in the new grill and then push the sensors into them. It looks flush and fit snug, however there were no snaps or fasteners to lock them into place.
now when driving 5mph or less they start going off and saying to check my surroundings.
any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same situation. Updated grill on 2019 GX460. I adapted the old parking sensors to fit the new grill but after a couple of months of driving, I'm getting false parking warnings at low speed <5mph. Any solutions out there? The sensors for the 2020 and newer GX looks to be slightly different. It's difficult to tell if the harness connector is the same between them though.

 

Make sure the sensor is pushed in as far as it can go. It reading the the outer edges of the plastic. You may have to open the hole just a tad.

 

I replaced the grill and transferred sensors with brackets to the new grill. Everything was working perfectly fine for several days until today. I got in the car and it’s started beeping for no reason, it goes away after about 5mph. It’s kind of strange because it beeps on and off. Car was parked for a few days.
