Rotated Tires, now steering wheel vibration
Hi all,
Just rotated my tires this weekend and noticed today that the steering wheel has a vibration in it at highway speeds, 65-70mph. It did not do this at all before I rotated the tires, any ideas why it's doing it now? Tires are fairly new and Bridgestones H/Ts.
I know my rotors are warped and need replaced but the vibration I'm referring to is when I am not braking.

If front wheels are out of balance, you should feel vibration in the steering wheel. If rear wheels are out of balance, you should still feel vibration, but you should feel it in the seat.

i have had tires that were just slightly out of balance but not noticeable while they were in the rear. Moved them up and they did vibrate. I have also had rear tires that were out of balance in the rear and you could feel it in the seat, even see the seat backs vibrate. Depends on the car or truck. In my Audi or miata even a slight vibration can be felt, in a 5000 lb truck, maybe a little more forgiving in the rear.

Took it to Discount Tire today, the 2 front tires were out of balance. One was 3oz off and the other was 1.5oz. I drove a short distance on the highway and didn't notice the vibration anymore. Thanks guys.
