Hey everyone. Been wanting a GX470 for a long time and today is the day. Picking up a 2009 (with nav setup) if it passes inspection. Everything is stock aside from slightly larger than stock tires. I've done plenty of research regarding what to look for when purchasing but now I need suggestions on what to do in the aftermarket parts. I like the overland look but without going over the top. I would like to get new wheels and tires in the coming months. I've always liked TRD wheels on a Lexus but dont know where to start. I'm not a car guy. Any other "do this first" mod suggestions would be appreciated. Many thanks!

 

Best advice, do lots of research for yourself. Some random on the internet could say a mod is their favorite, you could find you hate it.

Wheels and tires aren’t a bad place to start. TRD wheels and 265/70-17 tires look great and no rubbing.

 

That's also an aftermarket grille on your GX already, incase you didn't realize.

 

I did. I really like it compared to the stock.

 

I like the front grill. Nice.
