Default Help with knock sensors??

Started my ‘08 GX this morning and felt the engine hiccup and then got a check engine light. 2 knock sensor codes?? Cleared codes and check engine light pops back on the second I start the vehicle. Any ideas? Is it ok to drive to a mechanic? Idles fine but runs a little rough under acceleration.

You can drive to your mechanic just take it easy on the throttle. Bad knock sensor signal will trigger a code right away.

Check engine light means take it for service. Flashing check engine light means stop driving NOW, shut it down.

They're both located in the valley of the engine next to the starter.
As far as I can tell the common reason for them going out is a rodent eating the wires.

Given the labor cost to remove the intake and get in there, think about replacing the starter if you're still on the original.
