GX470 passenger heat problems
Hello all,
I've read through several heater threads and none seem to point me correct so I figured I'd just ask.
My passenger side heat isn't heating up.
I've checked the passenger vent control motor and it works. My fluid was just flushed, changed and burped by a trusted dealership.
My driver side heat works great, and when I close the driver side vents the passenger side warms up to almost as high as driver, as soon as I open driver vents it cools down immediately.
I'm wondering if it's an issue with the heater core? Does th GX have dual heater cores? Could it be an issue with the heater valve?

As for the climate system check, I have an aftermarket system, I don't have a climate control buttons to initialize the sequence.😓

So I put my oem nav back in to rerun th climate diagnostics. Received codes 21 and 24. 21 is the light sensor, but it was at night so chalk it up to no sunlight.
24 is the magnetic latch for the Ac. Just to be sure, I changed that and th codes still show when running diagnostics.
it's really strange. It's like having two complete separate heater cores. The passenger side, even the defroster is cold, while the left driver side is very hot, and the center driver side is very warm.
I'm really at a loss. All of the motors appear to be working. I've taken the glove box out to see the actuators and they seem to be working well.
