Default Lugnuts for TRD Pro wheels

After looking up how much the black Toyota nuts are ($11-12 each, so over $265 for a set), can I run the stock GX lugnuts on these wheels?
Running cheap Chinese eBay lugnuts are not an option.

Thanks.

OEM's are hub centric? I think they are.
As long as the TRD rims can be hub centric (native or with hub rings), if the OEM mag lugs fit then you should be just fine.

I found this FAQ which says "yes you can use the OEM lugs"

Do you mind confirming if the Lexus GX470 lug nuts worked for the TRD Pro wheels?

Thanks.

Yes, they work fine. They add a little bit of silver to the black wheels, which is nice.

FWIW, my ‘19 Tacoma TRD Pro came from factory with silver lug nuts.

Thank you! I'm getting these wheels put on today. Gonna see how the silver looks. Maybe find black ones down the road.

A little contrast seems like a good idea.

With that style of look, I would replace all the bolts with ones about 1/2-3/4" longer ones, and then use nuts.
Dorman lug studs & nuts, the gold hue ones. You just need to find the right size and splines to match, but you can start with their app guide on their site, etc. They have a XLS doc somewhere that has full listing of their studs w/ specs, so once you find a matching item in app guide (which gives size & splines) you can then seek out the longer studs. I did this to my Tacoma years ago, never once an issue.

My bad, I used these wheel studs on my tacoma, and then got the nuts from Dorman. Looks super good on black rims.

Can't seem to locate the key for the lug nuts to remove stock wheels...found out at the tire shop. Durrrr.

Where is a common place ppl store their lugnut keys in the GX? I looked in the tool box and glove box. Maybe the spare? I haven't looked there.

All the compartments. Don't forget the one in the driver's side back where the jack is.

If you can't find the key, most tire shops have ways to remove the locks. You will need to have four lugnuts ready to put on in their place.

Looked in every compartment and no luck. Les Schwab Tire Center said they could not remove the lug nuts. Apparently I have to go to a lexus dealer and have them make me a key...
