2008 GX470 - P1445 error issues
I've been having the same issue with my 2008 GX since December 2019 with the lights coming on in the dash (engine, & other lights). The code I got was P1445, which leads me to believe it is the secondary Air Injection Switching Valve bank 2. I've replaced the gas cap first, then the injection pump & after a few days the check engine & other lights came on again; then I replaced the check valves & again the lights just came on again after 4 days. I'm going to re-scan the engine again this afternoon to see what codes come up, but I suspect it will be the same one's as the previous 2 times. I'm at a loss as to what the heck is the problem. I then did some research on line & ran across this thread of information & from what I can tell the solution may be to remove the filter & add the UNI filter. Is this the long term solution or do I need to replace the UNI filter on a yearly basis by checking how it looks. How is this new UNI filter working for everyone? I"m guessing there is no warranty for my GX since it is over 10 years old. Having said that, do I need to open up the engine again to look at all the parts for damage? This is crazy.
