Drivers window control
I know this has been discussed at length.
My drivers side window control for drivers window is blinking twice. It will only control window up when you press it for auto. Resetting it by putting it half way down, then up and hold for 3 secs, and down same thing....doesn't work.
Being that it only operates the window up when pressing for auto. is it the switch?

there was no power interruption.
the window will go all the way down and all the way back up. auto doesn't work up or down. and to get the window to go up, you have to full click the button. (which is for auto, but it stops if i let go) (half click for non-auto does nothing)

The way the computer knows you're at the top or bottom of the track is the motor stops turning (because the window is pressing against the seal, or at the bottom of the track)
Possibilities are corrosion in the mechanism that adds friction, making the computer think it's at the end of travel (or dried-up grease).
Or a weak motor.
A new window regulator isn't too bad, around $110. But the motor is pricey .. over $400
