Replaced defective drivers side window on my 07 es350 due to broken nylon holding tabs..The new window goes down without problem, but during the return to the closed position, the window does not stop when closed, but travels half way down and stops..I am told that the auto stop has to be reset.......Thanks HAVE A GREAT DAY

Dave...Thanks for the suggestion...However, it did not work...Does anyone have another suggestion to get the window to function properly in the auto mode. The other 3windows work properly.......Thanks

 

Found out method to reset pinch protection on drivers side window...Remove door panel..Reconnect window switches...operate window..with the window travelling in the up position (must be travelling in the up position), disconnect the electrical plug to the electric window motor...Reconnect electrical plug...Then open window completely, holding switch a full three seconds after it is completely opened...Then close the window and hold the switch a full 3 seconds after it is completely closed...This resets the pinch protection to operate properly..
