Default B series Code??? (B1252)

So I scanned her today and what came up was this:

Body No 2 DTC = B1252
obd
Body No 2 ECU Switch Circuit Diagnosis

I googled as much as I could, and only came up with this info from carobdcodess . com :

OBD-II Trouble Code Description for B1252 Lexus

Air temperature internal sensor short to battery

Came here to check and this is what I found (Thermister) https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...re-sensor.html

Could this be the same fault?

Thank you for that but, that is so weird. I'll continue to research it. I just didn't want to tear in to it before definitely knowing or being 100% Sure, you know.

Oh and in case I forget to mention, I tried

erasing the code but it gave me an error code.

Also here a quick screenshot of said error:

The brake switches in most cars newer than 2000 model year... send multiple signals. One for the park lock, one for the brake lights, and one for cruise control... not exactly sure how Toyota/Lexus does it. But I’ll pull the diagram and post it.

In the mean time... do all those features work properly?
cruise working?.... brakes light up?.... shifter not sticking in park?

So... looking at the diagrams... I see the stop light switch(brake switch) has one signal that goes to a junction block. This junction block sends the signal to several more junction points. But I’m unable to see where the body ecu2 receives the signal at all.

Have you removed over any of your suspension controls... like the ride control or DAC switch?

Are you having any issues other than a random code that you found??

it appears the second but of info is sending you on a completely different chase than the code description in your first comment.

Everything, other than the fog lights which recently found out do not work, (a month after I removed the battery for new plugs) works flawlessly. As a matter of fact last night, I checked the headlights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, license plate lights, and as mentioned, they all work perfectly.. Including the shifter.

Other than removing the battery, in order to replace the spark plugs (With the same ones that came out, Denso sk20r11), Have not removed Anything.

As mentioned earlier, The only thing that I am currently experiencing (Which I have yet to chase) is the fogs not working.

I totally appreciate your input and invaluable info. especially on such a short week. Speaking of, Have a Wonderful and Safe 4th of July, to you and yours..

Okay so, I am stumped, flabbergasted, Perturbed...... Went on a 2 hour trip over the 4th, and through the weekend. Well, while on this trip, I went a little, "off-the-beaten-path" when I came back home I scanned it, and for the next few days, scanned it some more to see if I was just getting fluke readings. This is what it basically read:

I’m not seeing anything but ghost issues. Happens a lot on high end vehicles. I’d bet your fog lights just burned out one filament at a time and other than that your running good.

But I just don’t chase random sporadic issues that aren’t safety related.
