Default Replace the “DAC” with this.....

I never use the “DAC” button... so I’m thinking a couple charge ports would be great there.. and a Qualcomm 3.0 port would be nice. Plus these could easily be connected to 30 power(always on).

Cllena Dual USB Port Charger Socket Quick Charge 3.0 & 2.4A for Toyota https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FD2Z6GF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dBb1CbV9W0013

They have 2 sizes.

I don't much either but when I do it is priceless. I have a somewhat steep driveway and when a couple of inches of snow fell, I used DAC and didn't slip at all. The only other thing that might concern me is resell value. The GX is a sought after car for off roading. If you are going to take it out keep the switch so it can be put back in if you ever decide to sell.

I always keep my extras parts. Lol

still not sure if that’s the way I’m going to go. I’ll probably get a 3.0 Qualcomm 12v socket adapter and just cut the power wire to the 12v socket and run it to a fuse splitter on the drivers seat fuse. That fuse is rated for 30 amps and has power all the time.

Hi question is the new charger port plug and play , If you disconnect the DAW do you just plug in the new port or do you have to rewire it

why not just add a switch instead of removing an offroading feature? Or replace the Cig lighter instead?

You would have to run wires for the new switch and leave the DAC plug tucked away.

But I chose a different route.

That’s exactly what I chose to do.....

I’m using this on the fuse for the power seat... it has 30 power(always powered up).

I bought this to replace the 12v outlet next to the seat heaters.
