So, I bought some hid's from Xenonhid.com and I'm super stumped.... I've read the install article and am stumped on how to proceed. My light extends past the factory cover plate. Anyone have an idea as to how I can resolve my issue? Thanks in advance.
The retrofit source sells extended rubber caps for this exact scenario. You could also drill a hole in the factory cap but then you risk getting water into the light. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ru...sing-caps.html

So, the light actually extends past the factory cover. So whether I drill a hole or not it still won't close. I will check out that site and hopefully they can fix my problem. Thanks for the help
