Default Urgent need a response quick

The coolant was low in my 2009 gx and I (not knowing the difference in Toyota “red” and normal green antifreeze) I refilled the overflow with about 2 cups at most of the green antifreeze. Theres forums saying that mixing is terrible and can cause all sorts of problems. Do I need to drain asap or is two cups not enough to cause any probelms. Thank you.

You mixed 2 different chemicals together? I would assume they would coagulate and form a "gel" in the system.
More important, why was in low? Check for leaks or seepage.

The radiator is leaking and I have a replacement on the way. It was prestone long life or something like that, It says works with any make, any model, any color. Is that BS or does that mean its not a chemical that reacts badly with the toyota red

It may work with any model but, not mixed together. Personally, I would flush it out ASAP to avoid it causing some issues. Also replace the hoses, clamps, cap, thermostat O ring and, thermostat. Also, check the fan clutch. Much is available on Amazon. Depending on the milage and duration, might be a good time to do the water pump and the timing belt?

It’s actually about 5k past a timing belt job so I guess I should just bring it to the Toyota dealer and have a belt/pump/rad/coolant job done

Might be best to do it all up and right, the first time.

Make sure it gets flushed and back flushed really well when you get the TB/WP service done, especially the heater cores as you don't want those getting jammed up with crud.
