When I turn on auto lights on they are on continuous until I turn off the engine. They don't turn off in bright sunshine like they should.

 

Make sure you don't have anything covering the red sensor on top of the dash.
If not, try doing a computer reset by disconnecting the battery for 2 minutes. You'll need to reprogram the auto-windows, etc. (see the sticky thread about this)
