Default GX 470 Suspension Question

I'm new to Club Lexus and I have a problem. I think either my airbags or shocks are going out on my 07 GX. Would it be cheaper to replace what's wrong with OEM parts or just go ahead and get about a 2" lift? I would really like to have an excuse to lift it with a new suspension bit I'm gonna go with whatever is cheapest. It's sitting all the way down with no give when I bounce on the back bumper.

Forgot to mention... I get in and move a few feet and it fixes itself. No problem raising or lowering but have found it twice sitting all the way down with no play at all in the rear.

sounds like one of your bags has a leak. just need to replace the bags they have decent deals on ebay from actual lexus dealers. for the lift you can raise the rear air ride an inch to 1.5" without messing it up, and throw a 1.5" spacer lift on the front. inexpensive and will fit 33's. I have a 2.5" spacer up front and lifted the rear air ride but in hindsight I would have preferred 1.5" for the perfect look.

Your rear air bags are leaking down when parked. When you get moving, the air compressor reinflates the air bags. Like 'Ali SC3' said, you can find replacement airbags for cheap enough, or you can convert to a coil spring suspension instead.

Either way, it can be lifted. Raising the rear air bags is an easy matter of adjusting or shimming the sensors.

The ride will suffer if you raise the height in the rear using the airbags.

Thats whats people keep saying but I have been driving for almost 2 years now on lifted rear bags and my car rides just like it did stock. there is an occasional bottoming out over severe bumps, and that is why I said go with 1.5" lift versus the 2.5" lift I did. that would take care of that and the bags would be just fine.
