I just bought the vais sl3b bluetooth streaming audio for iphone. I am going to install it in my 2004 gx470
Has any of our members had any experience with this unit and could give me some pointers . I know how to pull the radio and am familiar with the cabling. Just looking for any advice from someone who has done it I have the mark levenson, navigation and rear entertainment dvd factory system,

 

I don't have that one - I have the one that gives you USB & iPod connections.

I couldn't find a good place for it behind the radio - just not enough room. I ended up velcroing it to the top of the 4WD control module that's under the glovebox (passenger knee trim panel)

Thanks I believe there is a hollow area on the left side near the steering wheel. I have had the radio out before when I did the dvd hack so I could have the dvd play when I was moving. I should be able to fit it somewhere

 

the sl3b unit is quite a bit smaller than the mml unit so it shouldn't be too hard to find a spot to hide. the unit should be pretty straight forward to install, just make sure you program the emulation mode correctly
