Default Anyone handy with the GROM audio + bluetooth?

My car came with the grom audio and bluetooth unit already installed by the previous owner. I had the Ipod function working for a while through the DISC input however just this past week I threw the car in reverse and the unit stopped working. I no longer can get it to read the Ipod.

Also, Ive never had any luck with the bluetooth unit. I can't seem to get my Iphone to recognize the device. I have emailed GROM and gone through some basic steps to reset the units however it doesn't seem like they are working.

Has anyone had any similar trouble with these or have any advice ?

Thanks in advance.

Do you know where the unit was placed after install? I'm going to guess since it quit working after putting it into reverse it is hidden in the center console and the plug probably came loose. It seems thats where most people put it, I put mine (I have a 2GS) under the glove compartment in the kick panel so it is easy access to update it and make connections. Your best bet is to get the radio out and find the unit, try updating it to the newest firmware and see what happens, Also if the plugs are loose that would explain not finding the bluetooth signal from it. GL!
