Question to all I've been stumped and not found the right product to clean and finish the dashboard on my 2006 Gx 470. Welcome suggestions. Thanks!
A lot of discussion on dashboards . I use light soap and water that's it. Once in a while I might treat with vinyl preservative but be carful armorall and other coatings can lead to cracking issues

On door panels and other trim I use Meguiars natural shine.
I agree with both of the posts quoted above. I've read the threads on this board and other boards about dashboard cracks, and I've tried to see if there is anything in common with those who have experienced the problem. For one thing, it would appear that a significant majority of those with cracked dashboards live in locations where there can be extremely hot and humid conditions, such as Florida and Texas. But I've also wondered whether those who have had the problem might have used similar products like Armorall to clean and treat the dashboards. I do know that, over the years, I've read numerous cautions about Armorall and its potential to do long-term damage to surfaces. In any case, I'm inclined to be cautious and to avoid doing anything that might even have the potential of adding my name to the list of those who have had cracked dashboards. I've had my 2005 Lexus since it was new. I've only used a damp cloth to clean the dashboard, and I haven't felt a need to use anything else.
