This may be stupid, but, should my 08 have an antenna on the roof? I bought used and never noticed it until someone pointed it out. There is something there but no 'mast'. Did it break off or missing a cap or something.

LOL. Ever hear of "In-glass antenna"?

 

I assumed it was something since everything works, Lexus Link, no reception issues with radio.

As pointed out, if I have "In-glass antenna" then what is this?

 

Is this object on the roof? Maybe a picture of it's location might help identify. You mentioned LexusLink, there's a small antenna forward of the rear spoiler location.

Looks like you're missing the mast to the Lexus Link antenna base?

 

Thank you...yes it is the same. I am guessing mine broke off and I will need to 'extract' the broken piece so I can screw in the replacement.
