hey y'all:

i know this truck isn't meant for performance tweaking and all but i really don't like the heavey main muffler on it, especially with with the wind noise it makes so i think instead of fixing it i wanna completely remove it and put in something else... anyone with suggestion on a better replacement than oem?

Be careful before you start cutting up that stock exhaust, nothing worse than highway drone.

Unless you get a muffler as long if not longer than the stock muffler, you will more than likely always have drone with an aftermarket muffler. I think the stock muffler sounds good as is on the GX.

How did you determine that the muffler under the truck is making wind noise?!?

 

pretty sure the OEM system is full stainless. if you want to make it better than OEM you will have to invest heavily.
