I just bought an 06 GX470. I realized that at night the dashboard light dimmer dial to the lower left of the steering column is not illuminated. Specifically, the little round speedometer symbol and the white scale beside the dial are not backlit. All of the other buttons in that area are backlit at night (mirror control, rear defroster, etc.). I'm guessing the dimmer control should be too...but was hoping someone here could verify that for me.

Nope, it does not light up. Lexus could do a lot better with night time illumination of the controls. I never remember how to use the cruise control at night since I do not use it very much I need to see the controls. The garage door buttons would be nice if they were illuminated as well, my wife never remembers where they are and cannot see them at night.
