Post adding RSE to 05 GX-470

Any suggestions on adding DVD to an 05 GX-470. It has rear seat audio but no video screen. Headrest systems?? Factory upgrade?

Headrest or aftermarket ceiling mount system will do the trick. You will pay WAY to much buying the factory system not to mention there might be compatibility issues if you don't have the Nav/ML system.

I have Vizualogic Headrest monitors installed on mine, have the same thing on my wife's Honda Pilot too. These things are very well made and they are a must-have if you're traveling with kids.

I also prefer the Headrest monitors over the ceiling mount because it does not block the rear view, something you might want to consider when making your choice.

Here are some pics. You can have two different movies playing on each screen, or both.

Our Honda pilot has a similar setup but with a smaller screen.

Was it professionally installed? If not, was it easy to install? How much for the set? They are both individual DVD players? Does the system com with wireless headsets?

It was installed by the same company that does all the dealer aftermarket installations. It came with two wireless headsets, two built-in dvd player behind the monitors, and Ipod interface. Total cost is $2200.

If you have kids, I assure you this is worth every penny.
