I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before, but how does one make the nav system input accessible while moving?

I believe there are two ways doing this.

one way is to ground the hand break?

two, you can get into the system diagnostic and change that option but you will have to do this everytime you turn off your car.

 

How does one punch in the secret diagnostic code? I know the code for my 02 GS, but not my 08 GX. I've read threads, but they're conusing about which model year and nav version is being discussed. Thanks for the assist!
