Question on buy back
Looking at a used 2006/25k mi gx at a non lexus dealer. How do I know if unit is/not a lexus buy back, and if is still under warranty. specially the rear clunk, any one thanks.

If the car is a 2006 model it will still be under factory warranty. You can look up the vehicles repair history by the VIN number. You will be able to see if the car had the clunk fixed if not you can still have the repair done under warranty. The car fax will only show repairs that were either reported to the DMV or insurance company. The car fax will also show how many times the car has been registered. You can always drive it by a trusted body repair shop and have them inspect the vehicle for you.

Be Very Careful
When we bought our 03 gx470. Down the street from the lexus dealership was another dealer that had it for 6k less. When we did our research, we found that all the cars on their lot had been in previous fender benders.
And were sickened that they never said anything. They want you to find out for yourself. What scum! So be careful when buying.
