No, I would'nt. I bought an 04 almost a year ago with only 20k miles for almost 5k less than that. Not to mention that I personally am not a fan of the custom two tone paint job.

To each his own, but am I the only one old enough to remember those really old big station wagons with that two tone design? They were the ancestors of the Suburban.

If you are into retro it works.

I'm not a fan of the two tone paint but that is such a personal preference. I also think the BIN price is about 2-3 grand too high.

It depends. Are you an old, retired man who wears a lot of plaid golf pants and pastel shirts and has too much money? If not, keep looking.

Default I would have a good look for Bondo!

Only reason someone might go with two-tone is if they had to replace the bumpers & wheel moldings, they do not come pre-painted. Kinda like the car facts commercial; recent body work, scratch that - NEW PAINT!

One could check the label in the door to validate if the original color was two-tone or mono-tone.

aren't GXs monochromatic exterior paint by design? ( I think I read that somewhere in the lexus site) how'd this one got 2 toned? or should I rather ask, What was this GX's original owner thinking?

Nope - for that price. If you are near a CarMax store you might be able to get a better price.
