Default Used SUV under $25k? Hummer, Q7, or ?

I am in the process of changing cars.....

I have a 2004 Benz SL55 and recently bought a 2013 CLS550 4Matic. I am thinking of ditching the SL55 and getting an SUV....just because I need something bigger than a 2-seater (for my 5 year old) and even though it's AWD, I don%

The Lexus GX, LX, and Infiniti QX will be at the top of my list. But I wouldn't rule out the Tahoe, Denali, or the Navigator also.

buy an older LX. The Hummer is trash, plus the "green" freaks will key it and throw paint on it. They went form the coolest SUV to the most hated car on the road. So 10 years ago.

Gonna third the GX or 4-Runner Limited... just run forever

Hummer, Q7, RR.... only if you like sitting in service shops

FWIW... LOVE my Maxda CX-9... pulls my boat (SR 185), seats 8.... drives like a sedan...plenty of standard tech and sound system rocks... just LOVE it!!!

Unfortunately, that's correct. The H1, besides being difficult to drive and park, is high on the list of Eco-Terrorists's most-sought-after targets. I'd like to take one of my big size 15s (yes, my NBA-sized shoe I mention in my auto reviews) and firmly plant it right up the rear lower-center anatomy of some of those vandalizing morons.

I am pretty sure when anyone mention Hummer, they mean the sissy H3 and H2..........

Most people don't consider the H1 as a choice, or even know it exist.

The H2, while not the H1's equal for military-use, is not what I would call a sissy.....it's done on the Silverado's tough frame. The H3, though...that's another story. ...it's done on the Colorado/Canyon platform, which I thought was a second-rate truck (especially in build-quality/materials) from the start.

But....you're right. I probably should have looked at the original post a little more closely, and noticed that it didn't specifically mention H1. Thanks.

Hummer? I don't know how anyone who drives a Hummer can take themselves seriously. If you're the Governator, that's an exception.

Otherwise, a Hummer is the auto equivalent of herpes...on your face. Is there a better symbols of mid-2000's stupidity, arrogance, and greed?

The brand doesn't exist anymore for a reason. No, no, no, just.....no.

H2 is a sissy compare to the H1.

Look at the cars the OP had and have, I am pretty sure he is not looking at a H1.
