Is that blackwood as predicted?

The key I can accept, but the cassette deck boggles my mind.

 

Someone with over 200 1980's cassettes I for one can appreciate it still being included. LOL. I know I know, but hey it's like your dad holding to his old Richard Pryor 8 tracks. Listening to Prince Controversy Tape through the GX ML system is just awesome. Blackwood is sweet.

words cannot explain my disappointment in the tail lights. WHY NO LED?!?!?!

 

What a downer... I was really excited about the possibility of new tail lights even though I knew before these pics that there would be no LEDS. But after seeing them, yuck, I think I'd rather keep the ones I have.

 

Haha, has anyone noticed how the tailight on the right has an amber turn signal lens, where it is clear on the left? Weird.

 

You guys telling me that you will not purchase this because of the taillights? They are available separately though a bit funky in design IMO. Overall it is as expected as most in the know knew that the newer technologies wold not be incorporated into this model year. Sport model will appease those that do not care much for the soft touch fluffy interior that the wood provides. Looks good to me! It will do until the GX570 comes out.

 

don't care for the silver trim around the speakers..........and I wish Lexus would have waited until the redesign before taking 1K out of the rear seat package.......all that does is reduce resale values.

 

Hopefully in a year or so the next gen GX will be out. Thing is I like the design already, they just need to change the engine and change certain options like the headlights, more upto date ML soundsystem, and a couple other stuff thats on the new LX.

hmm if anything they should have changed those rims. they look a bit small. o and maybe add cooled seats and h.i.d. headlights. thats all id really want to add to it

 

Very true. I am not big on the current LED offering.

how about usb or SD support instead of a cassette deck, Ipod preconnect, HID, LED, cooled seats, no key, power 2nd row seats, 20" rims, a little more console space would be really nice, cup holder insert that will hold larger drinks like a gatorade bottle etc
