SWEEEEEEET!

The guy I have been talking to for over a year on Lexus Forum
about after-market rims because I think his look the best of any
I have seen.....sells his GX470 and then posts he is selling the
rims that I love!

So yes.....now I own these rims and tires.

Thats what makes this site pretty cool.

=(Zep)=

(ps: I'll post before and after pics once they arrive)

Not bad.. I personally like rims that has a nice thick lip but as long as you love your rims, that's all that matters.

Question- is your driveway on a slant? It seems like either the driveway is on a slant or your GX is sagging the rear. Usually the rear of the GX sits high.

Yeah I kind of like a subtle look the best!
I like just a "teaspoon" of rebel....and be just a tad different.
I am looking for more of a "cool" than "WOW"!
But hell I am 48 years old....in my 20's, 30's I didn't like "subtle".
And like you say....2EachHisOwn.

That is his GX not mine, he will be shipping me the wheels later this week.
But it does look like his driveway is at an angle.
I can't wait.....I love them!

Well you'll definitely get a subtle smooth look. I've seen similar rims in action, they don't look too much and they don't look stock. It's a smooth flow. You'll definitely enjoy these, also the tires seem to be meaty enough to not feel every little crack on the road. Good luck.

Yeah, let us know ANDDDDDD post up some pics once you mount them on your vehicle.

No I don't have after market wheels because altho I like to see other GX's with rims but I prefer stock wheels/tires setup. I love the stock wheel/tire comfort and I don't want to have the headache of cracking or bending my rims from hitting the potholes here in NYC. On top of that we have the highest theft rate here. I was forced to install a lo-jack on the GX due to theft. So as you can see, keeping the GX stock is the best option for me.... hehe.

Sammzway...

Thats where these rims/tires are "moving" from.....NY to TX.
And I thought Dallas had all the "potholes"!
One thing that surprised me is he said he only used these in the summer.
Thats something you don't see in Dallas.....

Most people in NY winterize their car/suv. Meaning they usually take bodykits and rims off and ride around in either stock setup or they keep cheap ugly winter rims. It helps from eating away by the salt here during the winter time. So i'm sure he stored away these rims during winter, only way to tell is by seeing the rims once you receive them.

Hey Zep!!

The rims should be there by wednesday, I bet you can't wait! I can't wait to see pics of them on your vehicle. Sammzway is right about the NY winters, they do alot of damage to aftermarket accessories and ANYTHING chrome. These were stored in my basement during the winter months and I babied them with wax and frequent washings. The offset gives the GX a more aggresive look and wider stance, you'll see
As far as the pictures, yes the driveway was slanted and my picture taking skills aren't the greatest, but you get the idea.

As far as potholes, there is enough sidewall on the tires to prevent any damage to the rims. Now if you had 26" rimes with a couple inches of rubber, then its dent city.......

Keep us posted!
