i like the look.. but i'm guessing since the reflectors r darkened... the light output would be less bright then ours..

RJ- Did the lights myself

Sayadil- the reflectors on the GX are nothing more than ornamental. all reflection and focusing is done inside the projector...so, NO light output has been affected.

I appreciate the honesty

So far i LOVE it!! It brings out a different "personality" in the GX...and if i ever change my mind (or have a ADD attack ) i can always put my stock headlights back on.

really. i remember someone talking about how GX reflectors make AfterMarket HID output seem factory. Ur Sure Reflectors don't have any added benifit?? not even in high beam...
Anyway lights do look good.. there's no doubt.

Thanks Sayadil,

If we're talking about the reflectors outside of the projectors...then yes, they have NO affect on light output. Low and high beams are both reflected and focused inside the projector.

I'm on the fence.
On a darker GX it'd be yes hands down, but on a lighter colored one -- I'm on the fence.

How'd you do it thought?

CV- Skid plate is from the current generation Tacoma (optional part)

Tom- That was actually taken at the parking structure across the street from the Beverly Center...Good eye tho.

vraa- Agreed, on a black GX the lights would look awesome!
I guess it's really a matter of taste, i'm more into the "sporty" look, and have a profound dislike for chrome.

Thanks for the honest opinions

Looks to me like your GX has a pair of black eyes.
