4th Generation Nav question
Just came back from a trip with the family, and finally have a chance to really put the Nav to work. One thing that has always been bugging me, ever since my first Nav on an '03 Acura MDX, and now on the GX470....
Let's say you're traveling SOUTH on the freeway. You want to have sushi for lunch. You don't know of any restaurant's name, since you're in a unfamiliar city. So you go into POI Name and type in Sushi and then hit the List button. It'll return a bunch of places with the word Sushi. So far so go. But, you dont' want to pick a restaurant that you would have to exit the freeway, turnaround and then hit NORTH to get there. You want to find one that's on your way. Also, you don't want to find one that are way too far from the freeway either.
Is there a way to do that? I've also tried to use POI Category/Restaurant/Japanese and then hit the En Route button, but I'm not getting any thing from that.
