Night mode on NAV???

Night mode on NAV???

Just curious about the night mode option that doesn't seem to work on my GX? Is it supposed to change the apperance? I know my cousin has a infinity fx35 and his nav is black at night with colored lines for the roads. It looks pretty nice...If anyone knows anything i would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks

you need to adjust the panel lights illumination wheel off of the max detent position. that will let the night mode work.

Anyone ever notice that when you have your light on auto and you are driving to work when the sun is coming up that the dash lights up to normal at a lower light level than that of your head lights? In fact, when driving into work in the early spring, I will notice that when in traffic and stuck under an overpass, it will click back to night mode and then to day mode after passing the overpass. drives me nutts!!
