How do you get the car out of day mode because the manual doesnt say anything. This would help alot.

 

Day mode????? What is it? Cuz I duno what it is, and even if I knew what day mode is, I don't think there is day and night mode for the GX.

 

If you are talking about the NAV screen then most likely you have the dash lights turned up to maximum. Just adjust it down a notch and the NAV screen will switch from day to night mode when the headlights come on.

IF you have the dial for the dash lights turned up high all the way you will be stuck in day mode I did the same and could not figure it out for two weeks.

 

Took me even longer than that. The manual barely mentioned it, I found it on my second pass through it.

 

Off subect, but another mystery was the tipping of the outside mirrors when in reverse.. The switch needs to be set on left or right. When its set in the middle, the mirrors do not tip.
