LuxLink/Valet Remote Start
So, just got an 06 GX and want to add remote start, looked through the forums and ended up calling LuxLink for a remote start, they told me 2 months before they will have them available. Being the person I am, 2 months is half the life of the vehicle and an eternity in my life, so after more reading, found that the LuxLink is just a Valet 671T and 555X bypass module (with a luxlink harness) - cool I will just get that and wire myself!
Bad news, the 555X Lexus/Toyota bypass module is not compatible with the 06, you have to go back to the generic bypass module that requires the key, so a heads up to anyone with an 06, you need the key in the bypass module to defeat the immobilizer.

Which is what I was told originally when I wanted to get it installed... So back my querry, can one of the "generic" keys that are available on EBAY able to work with the unit to this REMOTE UNIT (I asked this on another thread...)Because if the EBAY keys work then we have CHEAPER solution than purchasing a new MASTER key???!?
