I apologize if this has already been discussed. Wondered if anyone has modified their front grille from the standard factory "L" with the gray/chrome horizontal bars???

I've not been able to find anything available from aftermarket parts distributors. What got me thinking along these lines was the front end appearance of the new "V" series CTS sedans from Cadillac. I understand that these are true sportscars rather than SUV's, but really like the look of the grille and wondered if anyone had looked into alternatives for the GX?

After Cap had shown the pics of his not fitting properly, I had second thoughts. After recieving mine last week, I attempted to call them to return this, unopened. They won't allow it because they say that it had to be specially fabricated upon reciept of the order. In other words, the product is not in stock, but is manufactured upon order, and they will not allow it to be returned.

I now have an unopened Lexus GX 470 Billet Grille for which I paid $188 ($155 + shipping)...

Still don't care for it's appearance, so will probably try to sell on EBay...

(live & learn).

 

FWIW I like it better than the other billet.

I paid even more, since I opted to pay an extra $50 to have it polished.

Looks good, but it still doesn't fit. I'm returning it again tomorrow and asking for my money back.

They said that if it doesn't fit, you'll need to email digital pics to Joe (owner) to prove this. If they accept that it doesn't fit, they will authorize a return, but not for a refund. Rather, they will refabricate and send back to you.

These guys don't care much for client relations...

I will be returning the grille today and notifying MasterCard.

I returned the Grille and notified MasterCard, then drove to Mazatlan, Mexico for two weeks.

To my surprise, one day after my return, another Grille was left at my doorstep.

Again, it does not fit. This is Grille # 3. Even though it didn't fit, Grille # 1 looked and fit better.

Will keep you posted on the outcome.

Hey, that BilletAmerica Grill sells on ebay for $300 that $418 price tag is OUTRAGEOUS in my opinion... anyone else makes decent grills? I don't get why GX470 has such LOW VOLUME of aftermarket accessories here in NY/NJ its a VERY popular vehicle and yet I can't find anything aftermarket at all
