Looks great. I've always wanted to know where are the wires?

I've seen several online sellers of headrests with the monitors already in them, but have never seen where the aftermarket DVD player is located, etc.

Again very nice.

It looks fantastic. Did you do the work yourself or have it done? Either way, nice install. What all equipment did you put in there?

PROFESSIONALLY DONE:
The Headrest monitors were Installed and the DVD is under the Driver's seat, affixed to the floor. The wires are well-hidden: I don't even know where he hid them all!

My Install:
At first I placed the PS2 in the back trunk with the controller coming out between the seats, but now with the new PS2, it is so small it fit with the DVD player below the Drivers seat, out of the way. Using floor mats I hid the wires to the power-jack in the back (Stock plug) and ran the controller to the trunk and through the seat to make it look like it just appeared from nowhere (like before).

While I didn't do any real hiding by lifting moldings, it still looks clean enough for my tastes hiding under the floor mats until I have the Pro do it when I ad VAIS-Tech and the Satellite-TV

My Dealer (Prestige Lexus, NJ) had them in their parts dept. Picked them up all as a set: Front, Back, Trunk

I think they are weather tech

what is your head unit?? is there a reason you didn't integrate it all?

i have ps2 in my truck. sometimes i don't want to hear it or see it in the back (thank god for headphones), but sometimes is it pretty cool to watch the game and hear it in full sound. plus the passenger can play in the front if they want. just curious. that's a lot of loot for the enjoyment of only the people in the back seat.

I have the regular Navi/Mark Levinson head unit

Lexus adamantly will not let out how to connect our aftermarket supplies to the front using their equiptment. Even if we could do it their way, it would only be while in park.

I am waiting on the Vais-tech system (see sig) so that I can add sirius radio and the backseat video/audio to the nav screen. This would be all through RCA cables (CD-quality pretty much) rather than through an FM modulator like I originally have.

Also, Vais-tech's system displays the station number, name, artist, and track all on the original nav screen and allows for the backseat video to be played in the front while in motion. (Not that anyone would want to do that! )

Yaro.....

I can watch TV and DVDs on my Nav screen without being in Park, using a NAV-TV module.

i guess that's why i'm such an advocate of not upgrading your sound package. for less money than the stereo upgrade, you could have gotten an aftermarket dvd player in the dash, headrests (or a dropdown), subs, amp, and the aftermarket is sirius ready. if you really want nav, you can buy an aftermarket nav. and, for a few extra bucks, you can get a tv tuner, back-up camera, and have your steering wheel controls all wired in!
