Exclamation Not-So-Obvious GX Features

Our GX is less than a month old. Just discovered that it has an automatic ignition. That is, you can turn the key to the start position and release; the ignition will continue to crank until the engine starts. Has anyone else discovered any other not-so-obvious feature?

Default yeah, it's cool ...

and it's been mentioned before.

you'll find you get used to it, then when you get in a different car you end up
just bumping the starter till you remember how starters really work.

Press the remote control once, then twice and then hold...all windows and the sunroof will roll open.

For the ones with the cd changer, hold the up/down button on the sterring wheel and it will skip to the next cd

Default features

the one touch start is on the '03 also. And if you hold the MODE button down on the wheel it'll turn the radio off. You can also turn it on from there too.

Default ac outlet is great

We do not have the rear entertainment option. What I do for long trips is plug in our 13"TV/VCR combo into the AC outlet behind the second row and it's instant entertainment center. Record six hours of cartoon network and plug in the tape and headphones and little ones love it.

Yea, that ignition is cool on my 4R. Freaks people out when I tell them I don't know whether or not I started the truck already.:0

Default funny consequences

I've gotten used to that auto start with the ignition. Now when I get in my X5 I do that and it doesn't turn over. I have to keep paying attention to which car I'm in. Same with the windshield wipers. I keep waiting for the X5 to turn them on (I know, some X5's have the auto wipers, mine doesn't).

that is definitely one of my favorite features....totally throws you off when you get into another vehicle.

although, with the cold weather, i'm using my remote starter these days...
