Body mounts?
Has anyone done body mounts on the gen1 yet?
I have replaced my suspension, although it is an aftermarket set, all the electronics work well.
Just don't have the "bounce" I expected. There seems to be a rather harsh "clunk" when going over speed bumps.
I am thinking the body is bouncing off the frame or something because the suspension is working so well.
The only thing I can think of is the body mounts must be deteriorated. I haven't seen any videos on it or any discussion.
Is this a thing? I see aftermarket kits for the mounts but they are $$$, so I don't want to throw money at a problem.
The girl is almost 20 years old. Still have to change out the manifolds to get rid of the ticking so I wanted to do the both
things at once.
