Default Display setting

Is there a way to permanently keep the screen display in dark mode at all times? I think there is a way to switch it to day mode at night, but I can't fid a way to keep it in dark mode all times.

Cover the light sensor on the top of the dash (dime sized black circle) and then turn the headlights on and off manually.

Yup. I don't think there is any setting option that allows you to do that....that's why I asked if anyone knows.

Based on my eyes condition, the black/dark mode works better for me.

Some people drove with night vision on. Ranchers, people with land that gets poached upon, perverts, and peepers, etc

I'm assuming you've already adjusted the brightness/contrast settings in the Display menu?

Yes, I have done that. Not ideal but just good enough as a workaround.
