Default 2005 Passenger window issue

Front passenger window works one time and stops, unplug it and will work one time and quit. I've thrown every part at it and still doesn't work. New motor, new switch and new master drivers side switch. Is there some resistor or wiring to check? Any idea on where to go from here?

Only thing I can think of is the wiring. The usual spot for it to go bad is where it flexes at the door boot. Try opening and closing the door several times and/or squeezing the boot to see if the behavior changes.

Thanks for the reply. I’m gonna dig into the wiring and hope it’s an easy find.

Dumb question but did you disconnect the battery?
If you did you have to hold the button down for a few seconds and then up till it closes for a few seconds to reinitialize it.
I thought my window motor went. It is in the Sticky section.
If not......good luck and let us know what you figure out.

Yeah I did all the normal things. Tried just one side of the battery then both for lengthy periods. Tried to get the window to learn the end points and it never makes it. Hopefully I can find a wire or something easy but I’m stumped so far.

My problem started differently but ended up same/similar to your windows.

Background: Water came in inside the cabin and hazard lights coming on by itself (times varied an hour to two hours after ignition was off).
Went to a recommended electric focus mechanic and he says sunroof drain is plugged causing it overflow and caused damaged to the electrical system within the pillar.
He said the part would cost $1700 but over 4 months wait, possibly. Option was to go with a guy who specialized redoing the wire work by cleaning & rewiring individually.
This fixed the random hazard light flashing but the windows did not work together or auto-mode.
The shop says it's fusebox.
So, I am going to try find the fuse box for 2003 GX470.

To all members: Any suggestions?
