Default Just Installed LED DRLs (pics inside)

Hi Guys,

I could not stand the stock Day Running Lights any longer so I bought some LED DRLs from v-leds.com.

The important thing is you have to buy the module so it can provide 100% power to the LEDs otherwise it will cause it to flicker like a disco ball. If you don't have the module than the car only gives out 50% power to the DRL, thus the flickering.

Since most dealers won't turn off your DRLs, might as well make it look good on the road

*The only downside to this mod is that you will lose your high beams.

Default Factory DRLs vs LED DRLs

Sorry in advance if the car looks dirty and if we used too much fisheye lens . We just wanted some quick shots of the before and after.

Factory DRLs

Comparison

*It is really not that blue in person...Looks really good during the day time!

It doesn't get too foggy in Texas (at least where I live) so I figured I can lose the high beams maybe a couple times a year or see the ugly amber color everyday.

Unfortunately, no daytime pics yet... We installed the lights last night and my friend is the one with the camera... I'll try to get some up next time I see him.

That is bright...Seems like you got a complete HID kit for your DRL.

I need some LEDs for the rear license plate & interior will check out that site to see what they offer.

The DRL's turn off when the headlights turn on.....but there is a little wedge bulb you can replace that comes on when your headlights come on to make it match...

wow......I think the DRL LED looks great but I might not do it because it will make me lost my high beam and I need to have that in IN. But I think I might do the reverse light bulb and change it to LED because I think that looks sick......
