Has anyone used the new 28 LED DRL from vleds? Supposedly, they're 2x brighter than the old 68 LED DRLs they sold. I wonder if it comes close to salvaging the use of high beams?

How do I access my fog light bulbs? Under the hood? Underneath the front bumper?

Could someone help me out... I have '06 GS430. and I was told the DRL is just the high beam in low power. Well I tried to see it but it's either high beam ON or OFF.

So I played around with the switch... It's Auto, ON, Parking Light, and OFF. I tried Auto (during the day), and ON and still see the high beam OFF. The only thing comes on is the little light beside the high beam and it seem to come ON in Auto (during the day), ON, and Parking Light mode. Am I right to think the little light beside the high beam is my DRL?

I think you're confused. In every car I've driven the high beams are turned on by pushing the headlight control stick forward or backward. You've never used highbeams before?

The highbeams and DRLs are one bulb. The bulb in the corner beside the highbeam is just a "parking light". DRLs are only on when your lowbeams are OFF.

BinaryJay, I do know how to turn on the high beam.

Where is the DRL?

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/3862654-post3.html according to that pic those are my highbeams and it's either ON or OFF, I don't see a mode for it to do "Low Power" aka DRL.

When the witch is in OFF, all lights are off.

You need to have the car in drive and the lowbeams off in order for the DRL (high beams in low power mode) to turn on. When the car is in park, only the parking lights will engage.

The DRL is the highbeam bulb in the small center headlights on the GS.
