Default I want to change climate control back lighting need help.

1st of all yes I have done a search and I am not finding the answer I would like to.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ntrol-led.html

My question is does anyone have pictures of the climate control AFTER taking it apart BUT before switching out the bulbs?

I have changed my CC bulbs with my LS400
and got the DIY from here

http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/light...klighting.html

it was pretty simple. I just ordered the bulbs and put em in and that was that.
I have done searches but the only REAL DIY I have found was one that seemed pretty complicated, for me atleast, coming from doing something as simple as the LS CC makes what the other member did seem like a lot.

I also would like to only change the backlighting of the temp screen and leave the buttons with the original lighting. ( Matches my aftermarket Navi better )

Would it even work properly using standard twistlock bulbs AND Twist lock LED's at the same time?

If anyone can chime in and give some assistance, I'd appreciate it thanks.

Good luck on the radio LED's it seems like they always make those harder. I wonder why...

My only concern still was if using a mixture of LED's and the original bulbs in there would work.

Like I've said before, I want the display to show white but the buttons to show green.
My Eclipse double din has green buttons and the screen is white so thats the whole reason I wanted to keep the climate controls buttons green.

I'm just worried that somehow all the lights wont work because maybe the current flow is thrown off due to the LED's (if that makes sense)

I ordered 10 t4 white twistlock bulbs a few mins ago, I guess if the original greens don't work, I will have to use all the bulbs and make the climate control entirely white.

okay here's the pic of the back of the CC from the other thread,
but whats the difference in the white twist lock bulbs and the black ones? is it just color coded so that you know the difference? because obviously the white ones are for the display...
or is there another reason behind it?

Somebody on here has white text and like a blue-ish/black background on their display. I wonder how they did it...

I can't find the thread, but I do remember seeing it.

No no. I mean, the background on the LED display was a dark blueish color, but the text was white.
