finally fixed the freakin low range prob.
So for all you whimps who were so scared to touch this receiver i finally got some time to get into this problem and fix it. its a fairly simple fix if know what your doing. i will put up some pics and step by step instructions on how to do this. first pic. start by pulling back the weather striping by the rear c pillar.

open the receiver and locate the coil antenna. the entire micro board comes up and out with no prying at all. take the the micro out and drill a small hole at the top of the reciver.

so to rap things up basically what i did is ground the antenna to the entire car so now the whole car is a antenna for this receiver. and WOW what a difference in the range. at least 50ft plus increase in the range.
